ABOUT
Miranda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Individualized Study from New York University’s Gallatin program and is passionate about covering the changemakers in her borough.
She is currently the managing editor at the BK Reader. Her previous work includes writing for VICE News, the Jerusalem Post, the Bushwick Daily, UP Magazine and the Washington Square News. She has also taught kindergarten, first grade and created an after-school community service program for K-12 students.
Miranda grew up in Manhattan and Philadelphia and is now based in Brooklyn. She loves poetry, taking her dog to Fort Greene Park and playing the flute.
Pronouns are she/her and she was born in 1996.
